October 19: International Day Against Breast Cancer

Every October 19th, we join a movement that unites millions of people around the world. A day to remember and support all the women who have faced or are facing this disease, and also to recognize the work of those who tirelessly research to improve its treatment and prevention.

Therefore, on such a significant date, we want to focus on something that fills us with hope: the medical and scientific advances achieved in the last year that have transformed the fight against breast cancer.

Advances that bring us closer to hope

The survival rate in Spain now exceeds 85%, a reflection of the impact that innovation is having on diagnosis and treatment. In the last year, research has made important strides toward more humane and precise medicine. New targeted therapies have been introduced, capable of acting only on the affected cells, reducing side effects and improving patients' quality of life.

Early detection techniques have also been perfected, allowing cancer to be identified in its very early stages, when the chances of cure are greatest.

On the other hand, artificial intelligence continues to gain prominence, not only in our daily lives but also in the medical field. It's increasingly present in our routines—from the suggestions we see every day on our devices to the tools that simplify our tasks—and has also become a great ally in the fight against breast cancer.

Thanks to this technology, specialists can analyze thousands of images in a matter of seconds, detect patterns that previously went unnoticed, and obtain faster and more accurate diagnoses. AI doesn't replace the human eye, but rather complements it, offering valuable support that allows more time to be devoted to what truly matters: care, prevention, and personalized attention for each woman.

Beyond scientific advances, this day also reminds us of the importance of everyday gestures : accompanying, listening, dedicating time, and sharing. Small actions that, when combined, create a great support network. Although there is still a long way to go, each scientific step brings us a little closer to hope.

From Tutto Piccolo , we join once again the International Day Against Breast Cancer with a message of support, admiration and strength for all the women who fight, have fought or accompany this cause.

Together, every step forward counts.
